Professor. Dr. Pelin Güven completed her elemantary and high scholl education in Ankara. She completed her master's degree at Marmara University Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Private Law. And then Prof. Guven, completed Ph. D. program at Istanbul University Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Europian Community. Her  research areas are International Private Law and Competition Law. He has five books, names of "Control of Mergers and Acquisitions within the scope of Turkish Law of Competition Europian Union Law of Competition, Competition Law, Applicable Law on the Merger and Division Capital or Transfer of Business During the Change of Headquarters in Corporations and Resolution of Disputes, Competition Law Textbook, Recognition and Enforcement". There are many articles and presentations written about her area of expertice. Her foreign language is English.
