Biography

Xin Long is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Özyeğin University. His research examines the role of international finance in shaping the global economy, with a particular focus on U.S. dollar liquidity. He studies the spillover effects of dollar liquidity on trade flows of non-U.S. firms and on the output of non-U.S. countries. In addition, his work also investigates how political risk affects the cost of accessing U.S. dollar liquidity for non-U.S. borrowers. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from ESSEC Business School.
