Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and Document Delivery

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a free of charge service providing print materials which are not available in the Library's collection for loan from other university and research libraries, within the framework of national collaboration.

Document Delivery is a free of charge service to provide journal articles, conference proceedings, theses, and book chapters, which are not available in OzU Library’s printed or electronic collection, for loan from other university and research libraries, within the framework of national collaboration. 

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Privileges 

Users must fill out the ILL Request Form in order to benefit from this service.

For the timely and accurate fulfilment of the request, OzU members must fill out all of the required fields and must provide all details of the request on the ILL Request Form. Requestors agree that they will refrain from copyright infringement  while using the resource and they will return the resource on time.

A user may request up to 5 books at a time via ILL.

Requests are met within 5 business days. The delivery time may vary depending on the lending institution and the shipment period.

The length of book loan may also vary according to the lending library’s policy.

The lending library’s rules will apply in case of losing a book or missing the due date. 

The lending library reserves the right to recall the book before its due date.

Document Delivery Privileges

Users must fill out the Article Request Form in order to benefit from this service.

Article requestors must comply with the respective copyrights while using the resource. 

Each article requestor is notified via email about the status of their requests at each phase of the delivery process.

The Library may consider purchasing the documents which could not be provided through article request service.
