World Autism Awareness Week

In observance of the World Autism Awareness Week, our students organize a series of event in collaboration with the DuyarlıOzU team.

The events are intended to show that individuals with autism may also take part in social life with our support, that they are not any different from us, and we can share the same life. Topics of discussions will include different characteristics that set autism apart from other groups of disabilities, and the importance of “non-discrimination”, which is highly crucial need for people with autism.

with the participation of the fathers of children with autism, Seyhan Erdeniz, Tolga Gökçe, Besnik Türkeşi, a musician with autism, Koral Erdeniz, the Tohum Autism Foundation, and Lifelong Learning Unit Coordinator, Deniz Yılmaz,(Forum Area)
