Dr. Celal Alpay Havle received his B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from Faculty of Engineering at Anadolu University as valedictorian and with high honors in 2014. In the same year, he completed the minor program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. During his undergraduate education, he focused on operations research, facility planning, simulation, value stream mapping, decision support systems and computer programming.

Following his graduation, Havle started to M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering at Galatasaray University in 2014.  Due to his high GPA in the program, he was eligible to apply to the Integrated Doctorate Program in Industrial Engineering at Galatasaray University and was accepted to the program in 2015.

Dr. Havle had previously worked as an industrial engineer in the private sector and worked on various projects. However, simultaneously with his admission to the doctoral program, he started his academic career in Professional Flight Program at Özyeğin University in 2015. He continued his academic career as theoretical knowledge instructor in Professional Flight Program at Özyeğin University after he received his authority certificates from Directorate General of Civil Aviation. Following this period, Havle received his Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering from Galatasaray University as valedictorian in 2022. After receiving doctoral degree, Dr. Havle continued his academic and administrative duties as an assistant professor at Özyeğin University.

During his doctoral education period and after that he has specialized in digital transformation, decision engineering, fuzzy multi-criteria decision making, and computational intelligence, and has conducted scientific studies in various sectors, including the aviation sector.

To expand the field of expertise, Dr. Havle went to Canada for an executive MBA in 2023. He added on artificial intelligence, metaverse, talent management, digital transformation leadership, and change management to his research areas during his executive MBA education at University Canada West. He continues his scientific studies and projects in his areas of expertise as an Assistant Professor in Professional Flight Program at Özyeğin University.
