eResearch@Ozyegin, established in 2010 to increase the visibility of academic outputs produced within the University, ensure their preservation, and make them accessible to a wider audience, is Ozyegin University's institutional repository. It stores, preserves, and provides access—within the framework of copyright regulations—to the academic works produced by members of the University.
eResearch@Ozyegin aims to enhance the visibility of scientific outputs produced by Ozyegin University researchers and to support their dissemination to the widest possible audience. Publications archived in the repository can be viewed online. Access to and download of full texts may vary depending on copyright regulations, publisher policies, and author permissions.
Publications in the repository are recorded and made accessible in accordance with the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles. eResearch@Ozyegin runs on the open-source DSpace platform and complies with the OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) protocol. Records created using the Dublin Core metadata schema are structured to be compatible with OpenAIRE and DRIVER.
Through this infrastructure, archived publications are indexed by international open repository directories such as OpenDOAR and ROAR. They are harvested via national and international infrastructures, including TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM's Türkiye Academic Archive HARMAN and OpenAIRE. In addition, publications are made accessible through persistent links provided by the Handle.Net system. This ensures increased national and international visibility and impact of Ozyegin University's academic outputs.
In accordance with copyright conditions and publisher policies, open access publications are licensed under Creative Commons (CC) licenses. These licenses clearly define reuse conditions and support the lawful sharing and reuse of research outputs.
The University Senate approved Ozyegin University Open Access and Institutional Repository Policy in May 2020. You can access the policy text here. For inquiries, feedback, or suggestions, please get in touch with us via e-mail at eResearch@ozyegin.edu.tr
