ILL (Interlibrary Loan)

Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a free of charge service providing print materials -which are not available in the library's collection- for loan from other university and research libraries.

ÖzÜ users can benefit from this service by filling ILL Request Form. The form should be completed accurately to complete the request on time. Requester agrees to use and return the item without infringing the copyrights and on time.

ÖzÜ members can request 5 books at a time. Arrival time of the book varies according the process time of the institution and postal services. Requester should borrow book from the library and return it to the library in person. Collections of other libraries that are not open to outside use, new books and audio-visual materials are not in scope of this service. Length of book loan varies according to the lending library’s policy. Lending library’s rules may apply in the case of losing/damaging a book or missing the due date. Lending library reserves the right to recall the book before its due date.

Other university and research libraries may request books from ÖzÜ Library via KITS (ANKOS Interlibrary Loan Tracking System). ÖzÜ university loan conditions to other universities and research institutions can be found in the KITS system. ILL partner institution can borrow 5 books for 15 days period with a renewal. Audio-visual materials, reference materials, course book, and new books are not eligible for loan. ÖzÜ Library reserves the right to recall the book before its due date if needed.
